It was so….zen…..

Today I experienced what I can only call, “THE ULTIMATE AUTOMATION MOMENT”!

At exactly the same time, I had all of these processes working for me automatically:

1. Roomba was cleaning the tile and carpeting downstairs.
2. Dishwasher was washing dishes (duh!)
3. Washing machine humming along…
4. Dryer trying to keep up with the washing machine.
5. Backup of one computer started automatically.
6. Virus scan on another computer also started automatically.
7. Backup of server was happening on it’s own once I started it.
8. Section of tile floor in kitchen (protected from Roomba of course) was getting it’s grout cleaned with a pre-mixed and applied solution of Oxiclean and water. Let it sit and scrub for a second to clean up Oxiclean residue!
9. I sent out an article to iSnare to have them distribute it for me automatically to article directories.
10. I pressed one button on my server’s control panel to upgrade all of my one-click installs across all of my sites.
11. Email was downloading and sorting itself into project-specific folders.
12. Little kid clothes were drying on a rack in the bathroom (keeps them looking nicer).

Twelve specific things that were all working at once with just a little startup effort!

And if that wasn’t enough, for most of it, my little guy was taking a nap!
