In my neverending quest for a real organizing plan for my home and my small business, I’ve examined all kinds of systems, tools and planners. Not one of these systems that was pre-made by someone other than myself ever felt right. It always seemed like planners, calendars and other checklists and guides were great for whomever made them, but not a good fit for me.
*****UPDATE: A Winner! Scroll down to find out who won a 1-year membership to ListPlanIt!****
A few weeks ago, I purchased a membership to ListPlanIt and I can honestly say that this is the answer I was looking for! If you like lists, and calendars, and planners, and guides and all of that other cool organizing stuff, you’re going to love ListPlanIt. I’ve been tweaking and playing with many of the resources on the ListPlanIt site for the past few weeks and wanted to pass on my review AND a special offer and contest!
First, my review: Whew, let me tell you, Jen Tankersley of ListPlanIt has thought of everything. In fact, she’s thought of lists and guides and checklists that you and I could probably never think we needed until we realized we needed them! That’s happened a few times as I’ve browsed through my “download membership” and come across a list that seemed unusual, but once I opened the file I realized it was really useful!
ListPlanIt offers three types of memberships: print, download and professional. The print membership lets you print the lists directly from the website and fill them in manually. The download membership allows you to download the lists and in some cases, fill them in with your computer (editable PDF files). The professional membership is geared toward organizers and other professionals who have clients who need to get organized.
I have a download membership and I am simply amazed at how comprehensive these checklists, shopping lists, calendars and planners are. There are financial planning sheets, home management lists, lists to help manage shopping and gift-giving, checklists for keeping track of family milestones and events and much more.
What’s great is that Jen shows you how you can create a “home management binder” which is in the works here at my house as we speak. She has a great video that shows her binder and how she has it organized. You should definitely check that out when you stop by.
Jen also has a variety of checklists and planners that are perfect for small business owners too. She even includes financial worksheets for small businesses that help with income and expenses, tax deductions and more. My personal favorites in the small business category are the lists that deal with keeping track of marketing tasks and social media!
The value is also really incredible! My download membership didn’t cost me $15-$20 a month…no way! She has priced her memberships very affordably so everyone can benefit and get organized! A one-year download membership is only $30! That averages out to only $2.50 a month!
I could go on and on about the literally HUNDREDS of lists and planners on ListPlanIt but why not take a look yourself? And…..

Followed and tweeted! Yay FIRST!!
I went to the site and I think the Cards to Send with Addresses list is the one I could get the most use from. I always lose track of my card list every year. =)
Thx for the give-away!!
Oops, not sure if I Digg’ed it the right way too.
The most important part to me seems to be the business, but honestly I can probably use all of these lists. I really like the Blog Post Planner, but I also like the Newsletter Line up too…..
Since I have four daughters the and I am in college the school comparison chart as well as the class schedule sheets look great too.
Fun! I tweeted
I did it! I think the Promotion Tracker would be a huge help for me right now, although, like Stephanie said, I am sure I would use many of them! Thanks for the giveaway!
Blessings~

I have looked at List PlanIt several times in the past. There is so much I would like to use. I think the neighborhood contact lists would be great for our potlucks. Oh and the camping list – I definitely need that!
BTW – I tweeted from both my twitter accounts and Facebook. @karinmagar & @homebizresourcdir
Tweeted! I like the SOCIAL MEDIA RULE OF 5 – That’s one area I need to get better at tracking.

I would definitely be interested in the Home Management, Holidays & Occasions, and Personal Interests. But, I think all the organized lists would be fantastic to have!
I’m following you on Twitter

I think I’d like this form the best – although I saw about 40 of them that I could use:
“BUSINESS JOURNAL – Use this page to record what you’ve done throughout the week. This will help you remember to repeat, increase, or rethink in future.”
Stumbled too!
Thanks for all the entries! Keep ‘em coming! I’ll be awarding the prize tomorrow morning to one lucky winner!
Remember you can get extra entries for additional RT’s on Twitter and a Stumble, Digg or some other bookmark! Just come back here and report what you did so I can record it as an entry!
Good luck!!!
