The title of the site, “AutomaticMoms.Com” is mean to convey the idea that Moms, as good as we are as multi-taskers, are always looking for ways to be more efficient and get more done in the short time we have every day.

I decided to create the site to share tips, ideas and resources that I’ve found that help make tasks easier. Whether you are a stay-at-home mom who is trying to organize a home and kids’ activities or a working mom who needs to make the most of her time at home, there are tips for everyone here.

Everyone has chosen their own path toward and through motherhood…some are stay-at-home moms, some are working moms, some are a hybrid of the two…..rather than try to pigeon-hole moms into defined groups, I prefer to celebrate and embrace the differences in the choices women have made about what works best for THEM and their family. That said, I will do my best to make sure that there is a nice balance of ideas and resources that can work for anyone, regardless of their daily schedule.

“Automatic Moms” try to find shortcuts that work for them. They seek out solutions to problems and experiment to find ways of doing things that save time, money and their sanity!

“Automatic Moms” also share their ideas and tips with other moms and brainstorm ways to make each others’ lives easier. That’s why I have left the comments on all posts open to anyone to share their opinions, ideas and experiences. Please leave a comment if you have tried any of these ideas and how well (or maybe how badly) it worked for you so that we can all learn from each other!

Over the next few months, I will share time-saving, money-saving and sanity-saving ideas and resources. Most are things I have found online, been sent by readers or friends or have discovered through my own experiences.

For you work at home moms….wow, did you come to the right place or what? I’m a work at home mom myself, so many of my columns will be especially interesting to you! I’m always finding ways of saving time and money in my business, so stay tuned! If you have wanted to work from home or just bring in a little extra cash, I’ll share some ideas on that as well.
